I had an old shortwave set that had no cabinet and I stored it under my bed. When I was suposed to be
in my bed sleeping I would drag it out and fire it up. The room would have an orange glow from the tubes. I would listen to
all those far away places and would be glued to it for hours in the dark.
I have moved on to collecting the radios
I would have seen in all those great magazine advertisements, and still to this day have a fondness for those old "shortwave
radios."
On the following pages I would like to show some of the sets I have had so much enjoyment of collecting and
repairing.
